Marcia L. Fischer J.D.
I began my practice in Virginia and after a few years there, I then moved
back to my home state of Washington and started practicing law here in 1994.
I am an accomplished litigator who determines and implements effective strategies for clients during all phases of a case. During the past 26 years, I have represented parties in all areas of family law. In addition, I have served as a guardian ad litem for children and incapacitated individuals, and have experience communicating with individuals from diverse social and cultural backgrounds. I am also an accomplished negotiator with mediation training.
I believe that my success as a family law and trial attorney is rooted in being thorough and efficient. I have participated in multi-week trials; evidentiary hearings regarding the admission of expert testimony; the enforceability of a post nuptial agreement; litigated challenges to a CR2A Agreement; argued motions in limine; examined over 200 trial exhibits in a case revealing the opposing party falsified documents; effectively presented direct evidence and illustrative documents of complex financial transactions; secured a trial decision that the mother's allegations of sexually inappropriate contact between father and daughter were unsubstantiated; and numerous appearances before Family Law Commissioners and Judges in both King and Snohomish County.
If you are looking for an experienced, effective, tactful and intuitive advocate who is able to maintain a positive and professional relationship, I would welcome your contacting me right away.
