Custody is determined by considering the best interests of the child. What is joint custody?
Joint custody means both parents share responsibilities for their child. It includes joint physical custody, where the child lives with each parent for a period, and joint legal custody, where both parents share decision-making responsibilities. What if a parent violates the custody order?
