Shana Pavithran

Bio
Shana Pavithran has been an attorney in the Pacific Northwest for 20 years. Shana graduated from college in Portland and returned to the Pacific Northwest after graduating from Northwestern School of Law. During her career, Shana has advised clients on business law, real estate law and bankruptcy law, but has been focusing her practice on family law since 2009. She has represented countless clients' dissolution cases, including representing clients in international dissolutions and international parental abduction cases. Shana knows how significant every family law case is for each of her clients, so she aims to treat every case with care, compassion, and attention to detail.
Before Shana started in Alpine Family Law, she worked as a solo practitioner, at a large, national law firm, and a few in between. In 2006, Shana received the Volunteer of the Year award from the King County Bar Association for her volunteer efforts with the Housing Justice Project. Shana has also volunteered with the Domestic Violence Impact Project, Solo and Small Firm Section Committee of the Washington State Bar Association, the Neighborhood Legal Clinic, and the Home Foreclosure Prevention Project. She has been an integral part of the Eastside community for several decades.
When Shana is not in the office, she enjoys anything that gets her out into the beautiful Pacific Northwest wilderness, but especially enjoys paddling, tennis, and hiking. When Shana isn’t feeling as active, she still enjoys curling up with a good book on a rainy day.
